Realestate.com.au joints up with Ebay

Australia’s No1 portal realestate.com.au has announced a partnership with leading online marketplace eBay.com.au. The deal, which went live today, means more and more property seekers will be able to access the popular property site via eBay’s real estate channel, providing an additional touch point to help house hunters find that dream home faster.
Henry Ruiz, General Manager Consumer Experience and Product Marketing for realestate.com.au said the strategic alliance with eBay is an important partnership that helps give consumers access to property information when and where they want. It also further consolidates the company’s position as the number one real estate website in Australia.
“We are pleased to be associated with eBay as it provides yet another channel for consumers and customers to engage with our brand. This deal forms part of our overall content strategy and will help address Australians’ insatiable appetite for property,” said Henry.
realestate.com.au’s recently updated website will give the 5.8 million Australians who visit eBay each month the opportunity to access a myriad tools and enhanced features to help house hunters find their dream property, whether they are looking to buy, rent or sell.

The deal with eBay comes months after realestate.com.au announced a similar deal with online publisher Yahoo!7. During the month of May realestate.com.au attracted about 6 million unique browsers to its site.
